Honey Lemon Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 ½ cup water
¾ cups honey
1 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp cornstarch
½ tsp ginger, ground
freshly ground pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).

  2. Put chicken breasts in an oven-proof casserole dish.

  3. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan and heat to boil, stirring constantly.

  4. Pour sauce over chicken and bake in oven until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  5. Serve with rice and vegetables.
