Before you start, wash all surfaces and your hands with soap and warm water, and remember to wash your hands, utensils and cutting boards after they touch raw meat or eggs. Spread inside of half a whole-wheat pita with mayonnaise or salad dressing and barbecue sauce and sprinkle with the simulated bacon bits.
Layer in the grilled chicken breast strips, sliced tomatoes and lettuce leaves that have been washed.
