How to Make Easy Chicken Wings
Chicken wings are a mainstay at many a sports bar and Super Bowl party, and rightly so – they’re delicious. Unfortunately, they also come with more than their fair share of fat and calories. The good news is that chicken wings are incredibly easy to make at home, and unlike their restaurant counterparts, ours are baked rather than deep fried which reduces the calories and fat, but definitely not the flavour!
Wings may seem intimidating to some, but they couldn’t be easier. Simply put together your sauce, and then toss your wings in a bowl until everything is evenly coated. Then, using a wire rack placed on a baking sheet (a wire cooling rack for cookies works too) arrange your chicken wings evenly on top, making sure they aren’t too crowded and none are touching. Bake in the oven at 425ºF for 40-45 minutes until crispy and nicely browned.
Serve with your favourite dip such as sour cream, ranch or blue cheese. Once you’ve done this once, we guarantee you’ll be on your way to perfecting your wing sauce recipe.
