Preston Street Chicken Sandwich

This easy chicken sandwich uses an herb-infused honey-Dijon sauce to take it to the next level.

Ingredients

Sandwich

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
leaf lettuce
Swiss cheese
4 Kaiser rolls, split
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
½ cup canola oil
½ cup Italian dressing
2 tbsp Italian seasoning

Herbed Honey Dijon Sauce

¼ cup honey Dijon mustard
1 tsp mixed fresh herbs
¼ cup lemon juice

Steps

  1. Stir together honey Dijon mustard, mixed fresh herbs, and lemon juice. Use as a spread on sandwiches.

  2. Blend canola oil, Italian dressing, and Italian seasoning. Add chicken to the mixture.

  3. Marinate chicken breasts for 3 hours.

  4. Grill chicken breast on medium heat until chicken is cooked through and meat thermometer registers 165°F (74°C) (about 5 minutes per side).

  5. Place chicken breast, topped with Herbed Honey Dijon Sauce, Swiss cheese and lettuce on the Kaiser. Season with salt and pepper.

Helpful Tip

For added zing, add more lemon juice to the sauce.
