Every chicken under our wing is raised with high standards of comfort and care. Our mandatory, third-party audited Animal Care Program is designed to maintain these standards on all of our 2,800+ chicken farms.

Food safety begins on the farm. That’s why we ensure that all 2,800 chicken farmers in Canada meet the highest food safety standards in order to produce quality chicken for our customers.

Sustainable practices

We've done a lot to implement on-farm programs, such as responsible antibiotic use. What's nore, the growth in our industry has contributed to the Canadian economy and helped support rural communities.

The “Raised by a Canadian Farmer” logo indicates the chicken was raised properly. Not all producers use it, but all Canadian farmers raise high-quality chicken with no added hormones or steroids.
