Restaurant Quality at Home

Never buy chicken fingers again! Nutritionist Theresa Albert shows you how to prepare delicious chicken fingers at home.

“Why buy chicken fingers and the grocery store, when they’re so easy to make at home!” – Theresa Albert, Food Network Host and Nutritionist (Was there something to add here?)

You know what? She’s right! All it takes are a few simple ingredients and you can have restaurant quality chicken fingers at home in just a few minutes. The key is to slice the chicken breasts evenly so they bake evenly. Use buttermilk and honey for the liquid and dredge the chicken pieces in a corn meal and breadcrumb batter. And here’s a great trick for freezing: Place an entire tray of chicken fingers in the freezer so they harden a little bit. Then you can just pop up them in a plastic freezer bag (without squishing them) and back into the freezer, ready for reheating. Makes the perfect after school snack or dinner for the little ones.

For adults you can leave the chicken breast whole, or enjoy the fingers with the kids! Get the full recipe on our blog.
