On hectic days, roasting a whole chicken can be a bit of a hassle–not to mention time consuming. This whole chicken can be cooking up while you’re at work, out shopping or simply spending time with family. Our recipe combines classic Thai flavours, like cilantro, lemongrass and chillies, into one delicious dinner for four people. If you have leftovers, they’re perfect for reheating at work.
It’s simple too – pop the chicken in the cooker, baste it with the chili sauce, sprinkle with some sesame seeds and cilantro, and set it cooking for up to 8 hours.
Pairs perfectly with some steamed jasmine or brown rice and Thai greens.
