After-school is when the kids are hankering for a delicious snack. It’s easy to grab something sugary, but with a little weekend prep you can have some healthy AND delicious snacks waiting in the fridge when the kids get home.
In larger containers set aside some chopped up fruit and veg, and when snack time hits the kids have access to fresh healthy foods. Grapes, melon, pineapple, apple slices, carrot sticks, cucumber and peppers all go over well with even picky kids.
