How To Make Grilled Maple Syrup Teriyaki Chicken

A marriage of sweet and savoury has never been so perfect.

It’s grilling time! Our maple syrup teriyaki sauce is the perfect marinade for chicken and makes a beautiful glaze once grilled. Perfect for grilling on warm summer night.

It’s super easy too. Simply combine all the ingredients for the marinade and pour over the chicken. Let stand for at least an hour in the refrigerator to let flavours mingle with the chicken. Grill on the BBQ over medium-high heat for about 8-10 minutes a side or until the chicken reaches internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Alternatively, you can use an indoor clam shell grill. Once cooked, sprinkle chicken with sesame seeds and sliced greens onions and serve with fresh arugula and brown rice.

Also makes a fantastic marinade for wings!
