Sloppy Joes are quick and easy to prepare making them ideal for busy week nights. We lowered the fat in our recipe by using lean ground chicken, but kids and adults alike are sure to find these “Joes” a winner.
After sautéing all your ingredients on the stove let them simmer for at least 5 minutes to let the flavours combine and the sauce thicken. If don’t have homemade salsa, store bought is just as good and much faster!
Serve on toasted English muffins or hamburger buns. Gluten-free? Skip the bun!
