The Chicken Challenge
Chicken Month is coming up in September, and this year, Chicken Farmers of Canada is presenting Canadian chefs of all cultural backgrounds with “The Chicken Challenge” – a social media contest where chefs create and share a chicken dish from their culture, talk about who they are, where they’re from, how their chicken dish holds a special place in their heart, and how chicken is an important part of their cultural heritage.
How to Enter “The Chicken Challenge”
Throughout Chicken Month (September):
- Chefs will be asked to create and share “chicken challenge”-specific content, including: sharing who they are, where they (or their family) are from, choosing and creating their recipe, and how cooking with Canadian chicken adds to their chicken recipe?
- Chefs will share their content on their social media platforms using the hashtags: #chickendotca, #chickenchallenge, and #nationalchickenmonth.
Winners will be chosen at the end of the month from the pool of participants who posted their “Chicken Challenge” content using all three hashtags.
