How to Make Chicken & Spinach Alfredo

A quick and healthy version of the classic Alfredo sauce and a great way to use up leftover chicken.

Fettuccine Alfredo is a classic entree and a favourite at Italian restaurants across North America. Traditional Alfredo uses lots of heavy cream, butter and cheese, and while delicious, isn’t so forgiving for those of us watching our calories. Our lightened-up version substitutes the rich ingredients of the classic Alfredo with light cream cheese and skim milk that still produces a creamy and delicious sauce. The addition of chicken and spinach adds some extra protein and nutrients.

Like a classic Alfredo our version is quite easy to make. You can prep the sauce in the time it makes to boil the pasta! You can also use gluten-free pasta if you’re following a GF diet.
